I have run consistently for the last 34 years. Passed the 100k mark on May 29, 2012. On the 31st of May I will have a running streak of 27 years. During my running I have completed 37 marathons and four ultras. I ran my marathon PR, 3:00:32, in the Cedar Rapids Marathon, 1983. Primarily running 5 and 10 k's now. Enjoying my new age-group, 60+. Currently running around 2200-2400 miles a year. Largest year was just shy of 3800 miles. Competition keeps me going and I still enjoy getting out each day and putting in the miles.
